Much has been made of the injuries young children can sustain if in the front seat of a vehicle when the airbag goes off. However, what would happen to their significantly weaker bodies if a side 'curtain' airbag went off in the back?

I don't think they protrude out from the window all that much, they just sort of come straight down.
