Default s2 or 3 dash custer into s1 fairlane?

Will it work? Can the bcm be programmed to it?

This one again! LOL!

Generally the principle is S1 for S1. You can go a S2 or S3 in a S2 or S3.

If you actually have the cluster (i.e. haven't paid for it - as perhaps it's one you have spare or have been given) plug it in and see what happens.

If you are wanting to purchase one, my suggestion is that you adhere to the principle above.

At least you are swapping a high series cluster for a high series cluster. That should save you most of your trouble. The trouble arises when putting a high series cluster into a low series car (Fairmont or above cluster into a Forte or Futura).

Hope that helps.

Give it a try. Others seem to have done so without any hassles.
