Last night did any one watch the latest eppisode where Jeromey raced the latest Shelby Mustang against the other two presenters from Wembley stadium to Italy on trains, buses and running power? Even though Jeromey bagged the Mustang did anyone notice each time he stopped around a crowd the amount of people taking photos out of interrest?

He also made a lot of very positive comments about the Toyota GT86.
I wonder why....... |

I watched that ep a little while ago. From memeory, he said it was uncomfortable and made references to the plastic. But said the "powerrr" was great for its price. I watched an old ep last night and it was a 'man' episode and they track tested the renault clio rear mounted V6. My god i want one.

50L fuel tank in the Mustang though? You'd hope there's a servo on the horizon should you choose to blaze off into the sunset.
I wouldn't mind stopping so often in that thing to be honest. More opportunities to be seem getting in and out of it what a great looking/sounding car! |

by entertaining do you mean their non-attempt at re-structuring the stereotyping of southerners and their automotive leisure?

Well he was right, it is made to a price and you get what you pay for.
If I recall (saw the episode when it first came out) he liked the cars style, the engine and character/heritage just believed the refinement was lacking. fair point too.

My mechanic who services my Megané has one for sale for a cheeky $50k I think. They sound and look horn, and go like the absolute clappers. Will also power slide and do dougheys because of the dedicated RWD set up. There's about 5 in Oz at the moment. I'm mates with two of the owners so can vouch for how amazingly crazy stupid fun they are.. |

I didn't think he slagged it off too badly. He simply pointed out the negatives (non electric seats, small fuel tank, etc) as he does with most cars (bar the vanquish of course) and it was good to see him driving something a little different

You sir win the internet of the day award.. I think people keep forgetting JC tests cars like Ferrari's Bugattis' etc for a living, so of course a Mustang will feel "meh" to him.

That was a good episode and then I had the misfortune to watch the American episode, oh dear it made the Aussie one look good. I was so bored with it I gave up. Crap IMHO.

I just watched it then. It sounds and looks awesome. He always bags American cars but given that he gets to drive super high end cars it's no surprise.

You mad bro!
Go and youtoob when the vxr8 was on..... Bagging RWD I doubt it, he love all cars and also admits he loves hot hatches aswell. He is well rounded when I comes to cars. Jezza your a legend. Folks rubbish on him but he has a grouse job and its something I'd give both nuts for.

The most powerful , ever, V8 production car for the equivalent of $53 K Oz !!
It has loads more tech than our cars and would look well tough without the Gaylord stripes... Shelby Pony car or a SS Commie ? ps agree JC is a toss
