Default Does anyone know tickford_ghia?

Ok must stress this first, this is not a lynch mob effort : I asked the mods if I could do this first aswell, as its the last resort.

I sold a part to him nearly three weeks ago (atleast) now and I still haven't recieved a payment, its only $50, but even if it was $5 its not the point.

I have his name, and address, but no phone number.

I was hoping that someone here knows him personally and can contact him.

I haven't even heard if the part got there, which it should have, I had it registered but haven't called aussie post yet.

I know I could drive to his place, but I would use most of the $50 up in fuel...lol

So yeah, this isn't a hit, just a hello to anyone that knows him; there is no malice in this thread.

I understand that people have other things going on in their lives, but all I want is some contact to know it got there and when he is going to transfer the cash.

Cheers guys!

Nice.

Good stuff, if he hasn't got the cash then maybe return the item. Members shouldn't do this to each other!

u can trust aff members, only when you meet them and get the cash upfront :P anything over the internet i get sceptical about, 5 dollars or 500 dollars doesnt matter scammers dont deserve a cent IMO, not saying this guy is a scammer but just the net in general

This happened to me also I sent a steering wheel in good faith thinking "fellow aff member its ok" to never recieve cash after numerous phone calls and emails still no money. His post count hasnt risen since so hes long gone. I know its mostly my fault for being trustworthy but it sucks.

I hope you get your money mate and are better off than me.

Its been what a week now? Any word as of yet? This is the last thing I would have expected on these forums. Especially within the e-series club.

Im sure most people on the forums are trustworthy and "fair dinkum" but there will be the select few that turn the cold shoulder, its a shame really

Yeah silly now I think about it, but what stops me from saying I will send it and then not doing it, then ripping him off.

One of us had to go first, it was just me.

His been on a bit, and posted a few threads so I didn't think anything off it. In his defence the PM's that we sent each other have been very polite etc etc, so I suspected nothing.

Elmalaca is giving me a hand, will update soon.

Also when someone gives me there full name and address I would think they would be a little be smarter than to try and rip me off.

You're an idiot. The whole ebay policy relates to the buyer paying, then the seller posting. The onus is on the seller to wait for successful payment, then the item should have been posted. It's your own fault. Having said that, I hope it's resolved quickly.

Actually no!

There is one person who can get his number, but wont give it out as they dont want to get involved.

Does anyone know if he has been online lately? Or has anyone caught up with him?

Its been way to long now, Im currently at the annoyed stage, and I really didn;t want to cruise around there!

I still have the Australia Post receipt aswell, to verify that it was sent.

Also willing for any e series member in Geelong to come around to my place so I can show them that no money has been deposited.

I say it's time to post up the name, if he hasn't paid by now i'd say he has no intention of doing so.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Well if someone wants to drop by and say hello, then they are welcome to.

Lets just say this, if I dont hear from him, or someone that knows him within a few days full details go up.

Does that sound fair?
