Default Will a BA front bar fit AU lane

hey guys

was wondering if anybody thinks the BA front bars would fit on the AU fairlanes

due to the fairlanes having the squarer front profile like the BA?

would like to get a XR or GT or F6 front bar for my lane in the future..
thanks guys

I've been asked this quite a few times.
The metal bar reo is the same between AU-BA so theres no real problem there.
Where I believe you will have complications is at the guards, I believe the BA uses a different mechanism to attach the bar to meet flush with the guards.
It's fair to say "nothings impossible" it comes down to time versus money combined with the end result. As to whether it's a direct conversion......no.
For what it's worth, I think the AU (NU) Fairlane front looks good, the modification/addition of a BA bar will make it look more like "Forrest Whittaker" as opposed to "Angelina Jolie"!!! :

Im A Panel Beater Have Done A Au To Baxr8 Front Conversion On A Ute. Au To Ba Radiator Suport Is A Lot Differant It Would Need To Be Changed Over For The Bar To Bolt On In The Top Mid Section. This Is Fine If You Doing Full Front But Not Just Bar Due To Fitting Of Lights And Guards. This Job Turned Out Nice On A Ute . But For You Don't Think It Can Be Done.
