Cheers.
Spacer goes between your upper and lower manifold, its supposed to help keep the upper manifold cooler therefore reducing intake air temps. Ive had mine in a bit over a week now and honestly I cant tell any difference in performance, although I did do an airbox mod at the same time. I got mine secondhand for a good price (was basically brand new though) hence why it went in, but BPT sell them for around $120 I think? Not 100% sure on the price.

Oh, You really pulled it apart! I've looked through my falcon books and can't find anything that shows how it should look, and can't get to mine easily because of the gas mixer ring right up near the TB.

It's all good. Re-assembled it saturday night / sunday morning for the bathurst cruise. Didn't worry about the spring in the middle. It has 2 connected to the butterfly anyway to snap it shut with plenty of force. Thanks for the help ppl.

P.S - Bathurst cruise was awesome, great day out. Wish more of you had of come..

5. 2 under the nameplate at the top, one at the rear near the firewall, one tall one at the front, and one where the coilpacks bolt on.

I think another thing the spacer might do is slightly increase the torque due to lengthening of the runners?

But I doubt it'd be something you'd be able to feel with the bum-o-meter

^^^ I agree, even with the combination of spacer & thermostat I can't feel a difference.

P.S Austin. hehehe, I removed the hood lining so it doesn't rub anything, nice shiny white paint underneath, and I can hear my engine again lol.

James22, how much do you think the hood lining weighs?

Polished manifold looks nice
