Yes there is no way that a high performance bubble car in that price range will sell here. STI, EVO, Lotus, Nissan etc are all closing next week.

220kw and awd why cant it combat the sti and evo? if the build is good enough and nice enough it could go up against the likes of the r32 golf, 147 gta, megane and the hsv astra. can attack 2 categories - sti/evo and hot hatch. if they could do it for 50k they will sell well if they would do it for 65k they would have to market it as a european hot hatch killer (well it is euro but lets call it the non-english-speaking-euro hot hatch killer :P) and target the aforementioned and things like the brera and alfa gt. 65k is out of evo and sti market though.....

Why would that stop it? I'm sure there would be quite a number of interested buyers. I'd likely never consider an STi or an EVO but I'd certainly consider an RS.

Well... It's gonna be faster than an Evo or STi, similar power - less weight, so that leaves it in another catergory AND it'll be a cheap FPV! :P

I'd be very interested, but not until the Focus III model, I've already got this shape!

4 High power 4wd Focus Cosworths were built in the last shape by M-Sport but cost so much no one wanted it. Based on how cheaply Ford can get in the XR4 and XR5T this could make it here between 50-60g, my guess around 58g.

The Focus RS is in development, will be AWD and have a inline6 volvo engine.

It will be interesting if it does but I don't think they will sell many at 65K

3 door focus looks quite good. Wonder why they don't sell the 3 door XR5 here?
