Default New EB owner searching for tail lights

First of all let me say g'day to everyone. Usually hang around the AU section but as the title says I recently became the owner of an EB XR6. It belonged to my partners lad who unfortunately had a small argument with a barb wire fence and the car got written off by the insurance company. Damage was all cosmetic but we couldn't stand to see it go to the wreckers or crusher as it was a tidy car for it's age and 219,000 on the clock so I bought the 'wreck' back with the intention of restoring it to its former glory.
So to get to the reason for this post I am on the hunt for tail lights. I would love to find some new ones or if I need to some really nice condition second handies. I also hope to source as many brand new parts as I can for the project.
Any leads or help would be most appreciated and look forward to talking to you guys in the future.

Cheers, Dave

Hiya CRDave,

You should put up some lovely pics of your EB for us..

Unfortunately Brand New parts are getting rare as the proverbial rocking horse droppings but you never know your luck..

Cheers,
Nik

No they are completely different. EA have the reverse lights in the taillight and have a sharp ridge near the top. EB-ED are flat (no ridge) and have the reverse lights in the garnish near the number plate.

G'day Nik,

Cheers for the welcome

I'll check with the young fella and see what photos he had from before. I reckon he might have some before and after shots of it. It was pretty tidy and looked pretty good running on EL GT replicas.
Yeah I'll just have to hunt around for parts, I knew it would be a bit of wishfull thinking but I'll see how I go. Never know what'll turn up hey. Thanks for the link, might have to check them out and see what they're like.

I have some second hand ones but won't be back to show a photo for another 5 or so days.

I definitely wouldn't ask $120 though. If you're interested I'll throw a picture up.

Yeah I'll be back home in 2 days. I haven't had a look at them for a while but if I remember correctly they're in good condition.

Either way I'll throw some pictures up.

Mmmm they're in alright condition. Few scuffs and scratches though (which can't really be seen unless you're looking for them) and a crack.....Probably not what you're after but here they are anyway.
