Talking New Comer. Intro/Question

Okay guys, finally took the plunge and bought an AU falcon. Its a SIII SR Forte..94,000kms. 11Grand...

I do have a few questions, I can't seem to figure out the Search function, so if someone could help me in the right direction that would be great.

Turtorial on how to install head unit, and maintain the steering controls.
Service intervals and what FORD actually do according to thier instructions.

What performance modifications can be done? What street appeal mods can be done?

If you could point me into the right threads that would be handy.. Thank you in advance.

Location: Townsville, QLD.

Dude - just have a look around the forums and you will find the answers to all of these.

Nice Car - Hey, what am I saying - all AU's are nice.

All Ford mechanics will prob vary on what they do, depending on how stuffed they can be to do it.

You can find some usefull info on servicing you AU here:

In regards to your headunit - try here:

In regards to performace mods - how big is youre wallet?

Anything can be done for the right price, but for starters, try looking at these workshop mods:

Street Appeal - Well, being in Townsville, im sure there is a 4WD body kit complete with bullbar and Bull Horn Stickers somewhere

Otherwise, you can have a look at the XR bodykits from wreckers, or try looking in the sponsors section - they do lots of aftermaket stuff for Falcons - Exterior, Interior and under the bonnet.

Good Luck!

I heard down south, you have a can of spray on mud standard as part of your 4wd purchase. Thank you for the links.
