Default Interesting response when at fault at an event.

When you do this.....

http://youtu.be/LByAmBxBTyY

Don't behave like a knob.

Instead man up and say sorry.

No actual footage of what went down during that altercation to cause such a response.

I gather not, though it looked like someone saw damage to their VL then lost their cool and that is the buzz from those trackside.

Quite frankly, if the GT owner verbally unloaded onto the VL owner, the latter should have kept his trap shut, but by all accounts it was attack from the start by the latter not the former.

When you've stuffed up, man up and take what's coming if it's just a few choice words. Quite frankly cough up would be the noble thing, even though when anyone runs the strip with the lunatics in a "Supercruise" they shoulder the risk, just like any other motorsport event.

Send that old beast to the best beaters in town. Then pick that VL up with a Chinook and drop it into an active Volcano.

Typical roid rage tool who lost his rear, his mouth, his right to be on any track again & any respect he ever had.
Video should go viral & hope he pulls his head in

Just had a look at the business promoted on the side of said tools vl.
Judging on his driving ability I don't think he or his car is listed in the promo...?

Youtube video doesn't show any altercation, has it been edited?

Judging by the pics, the VL tool is certainly behaving the way he looks....

Here we have a bloke that can control a vehicle with power and one that can not, from the get go you can see the bloke in the Falc is no stranger to decent car control, where as the tool in the other lane goes from whoa to go with absolutely nothing on his mind apart from showing up the old Falc, I hope the Falc owner ripped him to shread’s afterward’s,

As the voice at the end said....******** hell...I’d have more choice word’s then that to say.

If he stood up and offered repair he would be a stand-up guy IMO, even if he exceeded ability on the track. While the video showed none of the altercation the pics here (and more on line) don't look too good for that theory though.

"Not defending the vl driving skill here. I agree it was a class act of stupid. BUT he did go see the falcon owner apologize and arange for the car to be repaired at a well known panel shop at his cost . Sad to see a car damaged. Theres a reason they have rules and ask people not to get carried away. Cause things go bad real fast. Main thing no ones hurt just egos and pride"

Some info HAS come to light this morning. While things weren't pretty on the track the VL driver has proven to be a stand up guy and done the right thing. From "social media".......

Yep, idiot alright.
You're taking your car on a bloody racetrack...just be thankful if you go home with no extra dents and your car isn't being taken away on a trailer to the insurance assessors (who will tell you to bugger off because you're involved in competition).

What a surprise, people judging a person's character based on his appearance.

Glad both cars are getting fixed.

Looks like an accident has happend (repeat accident) by the person driving the VL, the other guy who was driving the XW has lost his sh** and said some choice words, for all we know the guy driving the VL was probably very apologetic at first, I know when I was in a minor accident in the wet that was unavoidable and I was extremely apologetic to the person I hit and that person kept carrying on and I lost my sh** in a massive way (not physically but verbally) because it was after all an accident I wasn't doing anything stupid and it's frustrating when you are generally sorry and people don't acknowledge this.

It's pretty amusing though, considering the XR8 next year will be reborn with the same spec engine as the FG GT, could you imagine being a HSV owner forking out all that money on a brand new GTS, then pulling up to the lights next to a FH XR8 and then sitting side by side all the way to 100 and beyond
Even more embarrasing would be the lower spec variants of the VF in HSV's stable getting whopped by a factory XR8.

The part that I don't get is that it looks like an officially organised Drag meet, so why are there passengers in the cars and no one wearing a helmet.
