handsfree installation to a unit with prestige sound sytem on a 1998 fairmont sedan Au.
Have looked at resource area but can`t make sense of it. The car had a previous hands free in it which has been removed so I have one loom with four wires yellow/grey black/green/yellow green yellow can aybody tells me what these do and where do i find the audio. |

the phone handsfree on mine (2000 auII ghia) has a 3 pin plug which has earth, accessory battery (ie switched) and battery. this was all i needed for my unit. there was another single plug which is the mute for the radio. use a dmm and look for battery and earth on plug (test for battery first then the earth) the radio mute has like 4.5volts on it.

AU1 has all the wiring including radio mute under the dash.
