Ford just quoted me $300 dollers for the tickford intake snorkle.
I said "no you must be looking at something else" but he seemed so sure he knew what he was on about. So i said good day. Toyota wanted over 300 dollars for a 93 camery side mirror when i went to get one for my friends car. |

I need a wire clip for the airbox.
$9.00 from ford. I had a small joke about it about it and the spares guy says "it's because they're imported from America"... |

I have two silver ones lying around but they are a little scratched. I rang Binks Ford a couple of years ago asking for replacements and they quoted me about $350.00 each because they can't sell the plastic covers, had to buy the whole unit. That sounds like crap according to the first post on this thread. I've since moved to chromies and they are lovely. Kids like them as they are like a multi-dimensional mirror to another universe.

That's right. I read last week that a typical $30,000 car at Toyota makes the dealership only $300 and a Land Rover will make about $900. Not much to go around the pay packets!
