I've been reading tonnes of threads on faulty thermostats and how a genuine on will help inprove fuel economy and all the rest.
So after assuming mine was functiononing correctly for the last 18months I'm now questioning it. When the car is warm, that is it's been running for 15 minutes or so, the needle moves out of the un-marked area of the guage and sits just on the line that is the start of the area conting the word 'normal' if i push the car for a while, go for a bit of a fng or whatever, it moves, never much past the centre though... is this functioning correctly, or should i replace the thermostat, after reading all the threads i thought i should ask the question, fuel economy is pretty good, so im not sure if that means anything... anyways, anyone have any ideas? I'm not to fussed about it, but it did raise the question in my mind. |
