It looks wrong for the same reason the factory front end does. The original shape of these utes was smooth flowing, and I hate to say it, pretty darned attractive. I know US Marines who saw them and flipped out. They wanted them imported to the States as the new CHEV El Camino immediately! Squaring up the grill / headlights made them ugly IMO. That cannabalised FORD bulged bonnet just continues the downward styling trend. Suits me though, it may help convert Lion fans over to FoMoCo product ! (Why would you buy an ugly HSV when there is FPV ??)
