I've got an EL Fairmont and i don't know much about cars but i wouldn't mind knowing what can and can't be done to this model.
It is also my first ford i've ever owned and i'm really happy with it so far. I want to lower the car so it looks a little better but i still would like to keep practicality. I only want to have some basic 5 point rims and tyres to suit. From looking at the car my thoughts would be that 2" is about all that can be taken off before i'll start scraping the guards coming and going around town. The back sits a little higher than the front which i'd like to make it like the EF which appears to be flat from front to back. Some of my friends with newer models have fitted cold air thingies and a few other tidbits, is there anything i can do to mine to help its performance? a silly question but what KW does my car have? Fairmont 4l 6cyl. Not ghia |
