Breakup is not pretty,neither is seeing your light glass coming at your windscreen when you hit an eagle doing 180kph.

The ones I fitted to the XR8 after the eagle incident don't have nuts with the bracket,it is the nut.

As for the bugs they get sucked into the negative pressure area after coming in through the splitter area.
