My brother called me tonight with a worried tone in his voice and told me that he had crashed my car. He was worried because I had told him if he crashed my car I would kill him (only joking of course). He said that some kids had run out in front of him and he had to go off the road to miss them.
I was angry because in a week I am meant to be driving my car in my cousins weding as the bridal car (....also I was/is drunk ...haha). A minute ago I looked at the car and the damage and it dose'nt seem to be that bad (well it still resembles an xr8 anyway) as it seems to be just the front bumper. I will check the car tommorow for any further damage (when I am sober...haha). Now I am thankful that he made it home and he is ok. Just minutes before he called me I heard the news that one of my high school friends is now a quadrapledic from a road accident a few weeks ago. It realy makes a bit of panel damage seem insignificant. It makes it hard to stay mad at him anyway. |
