I have started installing an alarm into an EA falcon. I have run into trouble in wirrig up the indicators to the alarm.
The alarm unit has 2 wires that need t obe connected into the left and right indicators. I have tried to splice them into the hazard lights at the bottom of the loom that connectes the indicators/horn/wippers. The first time I connected it up it, it worked fine and I was a happy man. Then I soldered it all up and things got funky. When I tested it, the the oil and battery light where the ones flashing and the incators did nothing. I checked the indicators to ensure they work correctly and they did. I couldnt figure out what was going wrong Next I would try and wire it into the wires that connect to the indicator stalk. I traced the wire and cut the connections, but the incdiators still worked!!! I cant figure this out! I am trying to obation a wiring diagram to determine if I can figure this out. Is there any one here that can help me out. Thanks |
