Default That'll be the problem!

Hi All,

Backed out the driveway this morning on the way to work in the AU2 Sedan 2000 I've had for a few months and heard a grinding noise coming from left front corner while turning right.
The noise sounded like metal to metal... Thinking to myself it can't be the brake pads as the car had a roadworthy only a few months ago and the pads were changed before I bought the car. Possibly the wheel bearings?

Anyway the noise didnt sound good some I drove back up the driveway jacked up the car and found this....

The lower balljoint had failed and the lower control arm was rubbing on the inside of the disk rotor.
So much for the roadworthy that was carried out before I bought the car!

Does anybody know of a good place were I can get the lower balljoint replaced without costing an arm and a leg in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne?
I understand that there is a bit involved as a press is required for their renewal.

Best regards,

SilverAU
