Smile Power steering issue

Howdi all,

I've noticed over some time that the power steering is heavier at lower revs. Is that normal? It's fine when you're driving along but particularly when you're parking or turn the wheel when stationary that if you don't have, say 2000 revs up, the steering isn't as assisted. Normal or in all likelihood something like the pump not working 100%?? I don't believe the steering fluid level is dropping.

Like other Probe parts is it worthwhile looking O/S or there's local crowds anyone could recommend?
I'm in Melb & it's a '94 Probe. Cheers
