I have a 2001 75th Anniversary Fairlaine. The car needs new struts and rear shock absorber mounts. As this car was a "special" I don't know whether the struts were standard Ford units or upgraded i.e. XR6. The car always had a different ride to the standard Fairlane but I was never sure whether it was due to the struts or the 17 inch low profile tyres. The original struts were painted green. Any assistance with this would be appreciated.
As an aside the 75th Anniversary Fairlane appears to be a bit of a "parts bin" car, as it has LTD leather memory seats, Momo steering wheel and Momo Gearstick, Premium sound and 17 X 8 wheels. |
