Hi,
Yesterday my Ford Focus 2007 TDCI had the ABS warning lights come on and report the error message "ESP system fault" on the dash. I took it to the mechanic today who hooked it up to the computer and it came back with error code - C1141 which is a "Wheel Speed Sensor LF Tone Ring Tooth Missing Fault". They switched the sensors in the wheel over to the other side, took it for a drive and the same fault code came up. They said they will have to replace the housing or something like that. Does this make sense? Anyone ever heard of this problem before? Appreciate the help. |
