Hey everyone,
I've been wanting to do something to change my shifter lately, and until tonight planned to just get a shorter stick as I couldn't afford $200+ for a short throw shifter.. then I started looking into it, and apparently a Mustang T5 short shifter will fit my EL T5 falcon, and I found this one on eBay for $72 delivered with good comments about it in the feedback: ![]() 2 questions: 1. If it doesn't have 'positive stops' etc.. that the more expensive ones do, is it possible it could shift too far or something and damage the synchros or something in the gearbox? Or would it simply not be designed to be able to do this? 2. It actually comes with the springs etc.. separated as in the picture, will that be difficult to put together? Thanks to anyone that can give their insight ![]()
