No Spare

What is it with new cars that they have no spare wheel.My ex has a new Focus and had a tiny puncture(syringe) on Friday and the pump n goo couldn't seal it.I had to go and take the flat off and go away and get it fixed leaving her standing by the side of the street,just glad it was still in business hours so the tyre guys were open.Now she has to go buy a spare rim ($350 Alloy) plus tyre
Anyone heard of the last crazy act-stick a syringe in the sidewall so the puncture is not repairable and a new tyre is needed to be purchased
