CNW North America reports " that when the total energy costs of hybrids to the environment is calculated-including manufacturing, investments in lightweight materials plus recycling batteries-hybrids come up short against conventional machines."
"CNW calculate GM's Hummer H3 costs $1.69 per lifetime kilometre where a Honda Civic Hybrid costs $2.10 per lifetime kilometre" "A diesel engine can be more economical than a hybrid, at least in compact passenger cars." To me., this means the greenies have sucked us in . My V8 is great and only milk and oj comes in 2 litres. |
