I had a bit of a play with my mate in his 00 3.5 manual in my auto EF the other day, and my falcon beats it off a 80km rolling start, 60km rolling start and off the line, and with speed i get further ahead.
As far as I know my car is completely stock except 2.5inch mandrel catback. Oh and my mate can drive too

lancers and galants are incredibly quick cars.!! Spend about $2500 on mods and you will run 12secs no problem. Even with just a extractors and exhaust, the gli's run 14's. There just a good car overall, fuel econmical even if its turbo, cheap for upgrades and they are fast (AWD are the best).
magna's on the other hand arnt as good as the lancers. But a 2000 3.5ltr magna will beat an EA no problem. Its only 6 years old compared to 18, so the magnas have much more advances than what the EA's do. My cousin has a 2001 sports magna and my mum has a 2001 au forte. But the forte is faster _2:. Compare the 88 magnas to the EA's. An EA would win hands down. The e-series model were great cars for its time and they still are!!!. |

What lancers and Galants are you talking about? I couldnt see any lancer with extractors & exhaust running 14's, there probably lucky to run 17's stock! Unless your talking about EVO's and jap spec VR-4 Galants? Which basically only resemble their Gli counterparts in the shape of the body. |

My sister owns a 2.4 Lancer and its quite quick for a 4.
My Mum owns a 3.5 Magna (auto) and i think it would keep up with my EB XR6 (manual) I think the Magna is quite a quick car in stock form and the 4spd auto is quite revvy I also own a Cordia 1.8Turbo and its quite a quick car for its age and engine size |
