Ive done a bit of calling around and just car and racv and the only ones that will let me do a few mods to the car...
RACV have a few limits but seem fairly good, i dont know much about wheel width and and lowering so ill shoot some questions. I have a EF2 Futura I want to lower it to the xr6 height (RACV say i cant lower it more then 3cm's) The alloys i want are the ftr ones, 16inch... (RACV said no wider then 7.5 inchs) These where the only restrictions they gave me, everyone else i called said call just car i dont have the money to pay 700 dollars for third party fire thieft with them. Its 490 with the racv. Now i only want to know that the rims will be ok to put on and will lowering it 3cm's have any diff to how it looks. Cheers michael! |

30mm (3cm) will get you to XR height if not a little bit lower. And the 16" FTR's are only 16x7 wide, so you'll be fine.

Have you tried Shannons? They are pretty cool about mods.

I've just changed from RACV to Esanda (via ANZ). I had my Hyundai S-coupe and EL with them. Their prices were good compared to others I'd tried.
The EL ($10,000 value) $533 RACV and $442 Esanda. The EL has these non factory options -: ANZ 16*7" wheels (XR6 lookalikes) CD head unit Window tint Ming rust protection Insurance approved alarm The Hyundai was in the mid $700's but I traded it in for the Mazda. Our 2002 Mazda Astina $17,000 value was $780 quoted RACV. $625 via Esanda. It has tinted windows and Ming rust protection as options. My wife and I are both rating 1 drivers. If you want a contact number for the bloke I used to get cheaper insurance PM me. Brenden
