As some people said its more of a liason vehicle so its not going to be in pursuits.
There are many advantages to using Ford and Holden vehicles:
1. Cheap parts
2. can get fixed quickly
3. not as much a burden on tax dollars

Looks good & catchs the eye of other motorist which give Mazda free plug. People think if it good enough for the cop to have one, i might have a look at one.
