Default Electric Covers

I am trying to find info on how to make an electric cover door. The idea is that you flick a button and say your console lid lifts up.

That sort of concept.

Also, would it be possible to motorise the boot hinges of a falcon so you open/unlatch/push button and the boot lifts to full extension?

Any help appreciated cheers.
