Default Driver door wont open with remote

When I open the doors with the remote, the driver side makes this weird noise something like erh. The door lock thing doesn't pop up either. However all the other doors do open. But if i use the key the driver door does open.

Whats the problem?

My Ute just gone too..

I think its the sensor as I push the button the remote light comes up but there is no flash of lights on the car, come to think of it, did it ever flash the indicators when I pushed the buttton..

Maybe mine is the same fate a broken acuator, no funky nosie though

I'm not an expert, but it sounds as though it is the sensor. If it was an actuator the lights would still flash letting you know a signal has been received. Maybe a fuse has blown? Someone will be on soon that could probably tell you exactly what the problem is, maybe even where the sensor is located and how to replace it.
