Default Speed warning in Mondeo

I noticed when I was passing a car on the weekend that at speed there was a chime telling me I was over speed.

Does anyone know how to adjust this in the TDCi? I've got the book from The Colonel, and it shows it there, but not how to adjust it? Have I missed something obvious?

My Futura was easy to do, I would set it to 105 and on some freeways at 115.

Any ideas?

I was under the impression there was no speed alert so I'd be very interested in this also. I regularly needed that reminder in the falcon.....

That was the speed I heard it kick in at. Not much use here, I would prefer being able to change it myself.

Good luck The Colonel.

The speed alert, from what we saw today on the ford diags system can either be turned on or turned off, we couldn't find anywhere to set it... i turned mine off

Hey Colonel, where did you get to plug your car into the diags. Was it at your 3000KM service?

My dealer's explanation for this is: the highest speed allowed anywhere in Australia is 120 km/h hence the chime at around 125.

I took this one with a grain of salt!
