Should've taken it to where my cousin works in Preston. Done my suspension job A1. Wheel alignment was 0 all round. Can't complain with that.

Well I finally have my car abck and it's now driving perfectly.

Suspension specialist was happy with all the componentry, but the alignment was way out of whack. 1 degree toe in on rear wheels. Front wheels a total of 6 degrees toe out!!!!! No wonder it drove like crap!

He event setup a slalom course in the court where his workshop is, to road test the car and make sure it was spot on.

Here are the pics of the repaired car, now with body coloured side and bumper strips.

NOTE: Pics are in COLOUR. Car is now montone, just as I'd planned it, so now even in colour photography, it looks like black and white.

I've always wanted to colour code the black strip and this just makes me want to even more.
The car looks amazing mate.

Steve looks good! Question why didn't you do the door handles as well. Glad to see that you have your car back and it is driving well. Also no more Honda Jazz are you upset?

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Adam, a couple of reasons;
1. Wasn't confident that the aftermarket paint job would stand up to the wear and tear on the handles

2. I got it done as a freebee from the panelbeater, and I might have been pushing my luck to get the handles done as well (more complicated job)

3. I decided that if it was good enough for the original Focus RS to have colour coded strips, but black handles, good enough for me

You could turn the Focus into "Son of RS" by bolting on a Garrett Turbocharger, get some schmick Sparco Seats, some Sachs Dampers, Brembo Brakes and Bob's your Uncle. And don't worry about it, i've thought about it.

But realistically, it's probably more complex than that.
