Default PCV Valve

Hey guys,

I've been advised my PCV valve is hosed- two questions:
1. Where is it located? In / on top of the rocker cover like I think it is?
2. Is it easily replacable?

Yep its the black thing with the hose connected to it that is sticking out of the rocker cover. To replace it you simply pull it out and fit a new one. They come out easily as long as the rubber grommet around it hasn't gone hard. The valves are about $10 from Ford. Make sure you get a metal one especially if your on LPG.

You need an AEV13 (genuine Number) and a grommet V850038S. Always a good idea to replace. Put a little Vaseline on ther rubber to make things a little easier.

$10.95 for the valve.
$3.40 for the grommet
