Default Half Year Sales Already

Lets hope they have run out of 2010 plated vehicles. The Half Yearly Sales have already started.

http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/Satel...apper&site=FOA

$34999 Driveaway for an auto XR6, should get some moving. 5 year, 200,000 km warranty on Utes etc should be an added bonus.

yeah, I have seen a few adds for this "half year" sale. One for the Falcon, Ranger & Foucs.. Something about heart & head.. Dumb question, how can you have a "half year" sale in Apil?

Theres alot of 2010 plate stock left....

I guess they have to move them somehow, otherwise they wont be able to keep building cars...

No run out on Territory?? That is odd.

No stock to run out, Territory is basically build to order with a lot less inventory stock than Falcon.
You can see that when zooming in on the areial shots taken of Broadmeadows holding lot.

Territory has always been near its sales targets lately, so they won't need to offload much old stock, its the Falcon that is hugely over supplied.

Wow that's pretty good, might get a few of them moving!

Also, the $34990 XR6's is for "pre April plated vehicles"

I actually see a whole heap sitting at the dealers. All in the run out SVP.

But they are moving out the door.

The market doesn't want Falcons, dropping the price will do precious little.
Ford has already signaled its intentions by cutting production and employees...

Exactly.
Some dealers make a killing through bulk purchase of run out stock and sell them at a bargain...

Actually this time last year they were selling Falcon XR6's for 33k drive away, they seemed to push a few units. Mind you LPG/XR8 & Wagon was available.
