..dunno if its meant to be like this or not, but im spending some time under the car doing bits and bobs, and while changinging my radius rod bushes I have noticed on the passenger side I cant get a ring end spanner onto the nut cos the k frame is in the way. On the drivers side there is half an inch clearance. is something bent or is that the way it is?
Also been down to repco to score a pair of bushes for where the radius rod meets the lower control arm, he couldnt find a part number, anyone know it? Trying to get nolathane items Am also learning wheel alignments done by sight arent often correct lol.

They should be the same distance apart unfortunately :(
K-Frames bend fairly easily with a gutter impact, along with the radius rod, and quite often the LCA. The motor needs to be lifted, or held in place to change the K-frame too. If both front wheels have the same amount of castor, I wouldn't worry about it too much myself.

its actually what looks to be the lower part of the radiator support panel, although nothing looks bent and its all still bolted in? it couldnt be where the radius rod bolts into, that'd mean the chassis was bent.
something is amiss i couldnt even get the front half of the radius rod bush onto the radius rod cos there was no clearance. had to drop the lower control arm yet again, raise it most of the way up with a jack, then put the front half of the bush/nut on a couple of turns, then bolt it all back up. this isnt making me happy

just had a look under a mates EB and its the same there as well good on nolathane for letting everyone know their new radius rod bushes dont fit once your rod is back in

Everything is back together ok...and surprise surprise no rattles or clunks! Wheel alignment however is shocking...didnt realise there is about 6 shims either side (for the camber kit) How anyone can get close without a camber kit has me stuffed

The K-frame should be like that, i don't know why thats just the way they are. As for camber kits, you can get it pretty close if you've done it '15 000' times, thats what you get for working at pedders i supose.
