Yesteday we drove the trusty Ranger down to Sydney to see American country singer Toby Keith play all Allphones arena at Homebush.
When entering the parking station to park the Ranger, we noticed a sign at the entry gate that said 'If you drive a Ford go to the paystation on ground floor to recieve your free gift'. So, as you do you go to the Ford stand & you enquire about the promotion, we had to walk past it anyway, where a couple of young American Ford men wanted to know what we drove, F Series or Ranger? Probably a fairly standard question in the States & one which probably comes with a fairly simple answer. But anyway, I told him we drove a Ranger & he said to say thankyou, Ford are going to pay our parking fee. I shook the young fella's hand & thanked him very much & told him how proud I was to drive a Ford etc etc. While it might only be 20-30 dollars, I just think it was a great promotion. I presume it is a Ford America promtion as TK is sponsored by Ford in the US, but I just thought it was great! Well done Toby Keith & Ford!

Bloody ripper concert. The boy knows how to put on a show & he's a Ford man too which is cool. Highly reccomend it & to you Victorians, tonight at Rod Laver Arena is his last Australian show for those who like a bit of kick *** country.
