the other bolt for the idler pulley ??
or just a bolt to hold the timing case on ?? on an ef/el the has a thin bolt in it to hold the power steering bracket on.

the two big bolts above it are for the steering pump,the one above it is for the idler pully bracket.
it could be for a bolt that just bolts in?

Checked on the engine out back - just a bolt in that hole, nothing attached

so it's just a cover bolt,pitty i ran out of bolts,i can't finish that part off now.
still need a bolt in the bottom of the water pump and two for the idler pully bracket.

I gather that is my old motor there in the pic....
If you could post some pics (and measurements) up of the bolts you are missing one or two of (if you have some similar), I could have a look at home for them in my bolt collection (cleaned out the garage finally). I'd post them down to you at no cost at all. Mike

i got a hand full of bolts from the wrecker for 5 bucks,,,by the way what oil have you used in it,,it's almost ready to go in.
if you don't mind,that would be great,,a few spare would be good

Honestly mate, I couldnt remember what the oil was that I used, tho Castrol 20/50 seems to come to mind.......
I'll have a look for the bolts over the weekend and i'f I find some similar to the pic i'll post them down to you. If you want, you can PM me your details so I know where to send it. Mike

Hey mate, couldnt find my bolt box this past week...... Found it this morning.
There are a few "e series" looking bolts in there too..... So i'll be sure to post them to you TOMMOROW. Sorry about the delay...... I had not forgotten. Mike
