Go into ebay, there are usually a few for sale and the sellers list the difference.

Looking at Ebay, none seem to be listed specifically for the Series 1, some even say they all fit.
Do the series 1 have the white plug? |

Just replaced one of mine from the the wreckers out of a ba hooked straight up only difference was the steel rod to the handle was a little longer so used the old rod works perfect. From what I understand the plug didnt change untill the bf which u will need the wiring patch harness to hook up to earlier models.

I have used series 2 in a series 1 before and then when you lock the car all the locks do a routine if lock unlock lock every time you lock it or open it. Ended up swapping the broken gear in the lock from the series 2 into the series 1 lock pug it back in and it was good as new.

My friend got his series 1 au actuator replaced with a ba/bf type and on locking unlocking it's locks 3 times up down could this be why? Longer ba rod or something?

Told them what the vehicle was and its in the mail already. Funnily enough, after putting the purchase off for a few days and then deciding to go ahead with it, i went out the next morning and the dorr lock works fine again - typical. Ill replace it anyway along with all the locks and ignition barrel - all are either worn or dodgy. |

They are different, as others have said.
I used the (larger) cog and slider from a passenger side AU2 lock to replace the broken (smaller) cog in my AU1 drivers side lock. Make sure you grease the cog very well. |

I did a quick search on eBay and Au, Ba and Bf come up the same.
