Just went through this thread. Makes me recall painting the writing white on the tyres of an auto bluebird venturer wagon.
Car mods are an expression from that individual, so while we laugh we have to accept that they might not like our cars. That said wtf are they thinking?

I seen this a while ago, but thought it was fitting. More of a "pimpd" than a ricer, but it's still in the same genre of "toolness".

Spotted this super-sporty Camry a couple months ago at Highpoint shopping centre (my apologies for the crap pics):
Fully sick white grilles and "bonnet protector" (made out of white duct tape). I think those bumper protuberances are supposed to be fog lights. Love the Jim Beam seat covers. Blame the booze for making him create this monstrosity. The all-too-common fake bonnet scoop from Autobarn... More white duct tape on the B-pillars. This mofo's for sale! I'm diggin' all the chrome and white pinstriping on the *** end. Check out the German flag on the rear window, and the "twin" exhausts which don't match. You can't see it here, but the exhaust tip on the left is just bolted onto a bracket under the body. Hope you like it.

Found a few more old pics on my hard drive.
I spotted this "whale-tail" Hyundai in Geelong last year. Another "family car sportster" abomination; a Nissan Bluebird this time, in Braybrook. The driver was Asian (Vietnamese, I think), and seeing this p.o.s. made me feel ashamed to be Asian as well.

Just a sidenote though, now we have Toyota 4cyl and V6 engined camry's getting bonnet scoops, shouldn't the scoops be mounted east/west just like their engines?
