Looking at the front end - the geometry should be appealing to me but it just makes me want to yawn for some reason.

Took a 2011 CHRYSLER 300C MY2010 SRT-8 for a test drive this week, not a bad car bit down on the take off but now way are they gutless for under 70k drive away with all the mod cons the Ford and GM models dont have, they are bargin. The new version might just be powerful enought to give the Ford and GM models a run for there money

I could be wrong though, as some reviewers have said the new 392 Challenger has improved build quality.

well if their numbers are correct the Hsvs will fall further down the performance list. Thats pretty quick, looks good enough for 90% of people and the interior looks sweet aswell. Good work....

Yuck.

externaly a Bentley it will never be, regardless of their flattery.

And they've nearly flat out ripped off the 2011 Mustang instrumentation.,

This is what I have experienced and and been told too.

The merger with Fiat will result in a change within the design and engineering teams at chrylser/dodge and jeep. These changes will be shown very soon with the new vehicles coming out.
While their influence was minimal with the new 300(c) and Jeep GC as their design had pretty much been cemented in prior to the merger, there have been some last minute alerations to them made by top brass within the Fiat group.

Quality control has been a big change within Chrysler orchestrated by Fiat. Better quality materials and assembly processes will see a much improved product coming out of their factories.

looks hot.. but definatly not as polerising as the original model.. seems to be dulled down exterior wise.. cool headlights though.. and nice photo shopped pic's..
Interior look good.. performance should be blistering for an NA engine.. Should run near on HRT 375 supercar coupe times..

How do you figure it will run similar to the HRT Monaro?

Monaro weighs about 1250kg, what will that fridge weigh? 1700?

I was just reading about the updated SRT Challenger in Car and Driver and it seems that they have tweaked it to be a fair bit better than their first effort.
While it is a heavy lump of a sow's ear they have tried to turn it in to a silk purse (look on the yank website to see some of the factory approved Mopar accessories - cat back exhausts, intakes, cross braces, etc).

It's sort of like Sophie Dahl (and the Alfa Brera) while I know and could probably feel that they are overweight I can still forgive them a lot for their looks (especially with twin centre stripes)

Apparently half of them sold are manuals.

And it's making an appearance in Fast & Furious 5 (this may be a negative to some potential customers)

More cubes for more hp? Not quite. Chrysler obviously aren't follow the lead of the likes of AMG and BMW M who are heading back to smaller capacity forced induction engines.

Not a fan, but I'm an AMG tragic.

Yeah because the SRT8 is an AMG competitor, just like the GTS...

Im glad to see them stick with the bigger donk, going against the grain. And its a proper modern iteration of a muscle car.

This doesnt mean i like the LSX in the HSV's

That looks plain bloody awful. I'd take a commonwhore over that thing. And when the Holden wears a bow tie back over to the states.... I think they will choose it over the 300C too.

Agreed mate, muscle cars should have big cube motors!

I'm actually saddened to hear the monster 6.3L AMG motor slowly being phased out for the smaller TT V8.
