Nice photo! Look at those panels!

I have only seen one in person when I heard a strange engine behind me at the local big hardware store car park. I turned around to see this low, wide, angular thing and realised it was a Delorean. They are unreal in person, much like seeing a Lotus Esprit.

Every other male in the car park was staring as well.

I've seen the one getting around Brisbane a bit, I once lined up against him in my old AU and egged him on, he laughed, gave me the thumbs up and (very slowly!) took off

Definitely a unique looking car!

Matthew Reilly, the Action Adventure Author owns one, I remember reading a review on him and he's a real devotee, he's Sydney based I think...

Strange, John Delorean was like super tall and kind of designed them so tall people could be comfortable in them. Gotta admit about the head banging though, I almost did it myself - SA user XBRules has one as previously mentioned, he was very kind and let me take it for a little spin around the block.

Not something you see every day (unless you own one!) but still cool.

Fixed it for you.

I'm suprised they still exist, they were banished from Victoria a decade ago I think.

Thanks for bringing up memories of my favourite childhood restaraunt I can no longer attend, they've gone from SA too :(
