If you like I can leave the state for the August heathcote meet, just so no more trans blow up.
I feel very jinxed. Out of 3 times people have come to my house from SA eseries, 2 of the times a trans has blown up. : : |

Cheers again to the Vic boys for helping out, and hanging round at the "incident scene" to lend a hand, or even just point and laugh.

Some high (and low) lights of our trip to Victoria - there's a LOT missing.
The EF and the Iranian Tow Truck Driver (tm) Boo for this: The EB wreck, the main purpose of our visit: Some random Volvo: Towing with superlow, GO bumpstops!!: GO SA!!: Some old dude's garage ("Hi I have half a million dollars worth of cars, wanna see?!): Nhill: What a hole (but a better height car - that's with the ticky springs in the rear) Legends; we finally had trailer lights!

pully... good to see you didnt have the front tires of that EB touchin the front rail of the trailer. You think you were on the bump stops there, try towin an EA wagon with a VK (shagged suspension) without balancing the load on the trailer. We almost busted the towbar off its mounts b4 we realised what we did!
Sounds like you had a good trip besides the exploding transmissions! |
