Forgot to mention in the prevous posts;

Extractors, high flow cat and 2.5" exhaust will give you more torque when combined with Cold Air Induction.

YES, agreed, the diff gear will help too, I have noticed this myself too.

STILL, you should have been able to at least keep neck to neck with the Liberty.

Blackburn North, will be in living in Pakenham when the time comes to do the change over.

Maybe "hosed" wasnt the best word, we're talking a car length at worst but was pulling away. If I had of pushed past 80KM I would have slammed the rice box. But early morning, Traffic - too risky.

Thought so, I didn't really find it too believeable a stock Liberty would hose you. In other words you had him, you just fell asleep on the word GO and the conditions restricted you.

Pakenham is woop woop; Any guidance I can provide Text based. I am more than Happy to help.

My R31 Can beat them.
Plus if anything, the AWD is a disadvantage on them (unless in the wet) in a standing start because they just bog due to too much traction.

Unless you raced a 3.0L one, in which case it makes sense, those go ok...
Yeah I agree with the bogging down issue. They are a menace for that. In the handling department in the wet they rock!

I reckon get a JMM dev3HL kit, a JMM hi-stall, a S5 shift kit and a 3.7LSD....that would haul-a$re...

bugger manuals, I've had 2 EF and converted them both to manual...not worth it, I would have been better off spending that money on diff gears and a hi-stall.

Dave.
