this one is nice and simple; http://apps.icbc.com/rs-tips/driving...dangerous.html a decent article; http://www.roadandtravel.com/carcare/drivetooslow.htm a road rule; "125. Unreasonably obstructing drivers or pedestrians (1) A driver must not unreasonably obstruct the path of another driver or a pedestrian. Penalty: 2 penalty units. Note Driver includes a person in control of a vehicle—see the definition of drive in the dictionary. (2) For this rule, a driver does not unreasonably obstruct the path of another driver or a pedestrian only because— (a) the driver is stopped in traffic; or (b) the driver is driving more slowly than other vehicles (unless the driver is driving abnormally slowly in the circumstances). " another good read (the poll results are interesting); http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/s...-1111118408103 The views of two people in this thread (and you know who you are) are ignorant. Chanting the mantra of "don't speed and you won't get caught" is utter crap - just ask the increasing number of people who weren't speeding when the "safety" camera took that happy snap (there are many documented cases backing this fact up). And suggesting that maintaining a consistent speed is achievable is, frankly, just plain stupidity. I don't condone dangerous driving - nobody does - and I think we can all agree on that However you must accept that driving below the speed limit is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous than driving well above the limit. The fact that so many people (I would suggest majority) are fed up with the "road safety" campaign which focuses heavily on speed is proof that many do not see logic in it.

Struggle to see the relevance the posts have to the Thread Title. Gone way off track and needs to get back to the subject or runs the risk of being closed.
