I like cars in general and I like some car companies more than others...some I dislike...
Two of my favourite non-Ford cars are the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959, no thanks to Test Drive 2: The Duel on the Commodore 64. I also like the Lamborghini Countach. For cars in the average price range, I like both Mitsubishi and Subaru. I still lament the disappearance of the Magna, which I feel was a massively-underrated car, especially from the TE onwards. Aston Martins are nice, but yeah...dream on. I am not anti-Holden - I just dislike the anti-Ford attitude of so many based purely on nothing... I rode in a VE CalaisV and I thought it was nice. 325kw (had been worked on).

i like any car that is a good car, regardless of brand. car brands all work the same - they are businesses in a capitalist world - they do not car for you, they care about the dollar. which is why it is pointless to be brand loyal these days.
Ford vs Holden is a huge laugh in Australia - especially when you read the viewpoints in forums such as this ford forum. some people attach a brand name to themselves like it is one of their limbs. |
