Will Chrysler ever pull their finger out and send us the Charger.
That is where I would tend to lean once the Falcon is no more for a 4 Door V8

I'm possibly going to update my BF in a few years, and if I do, I'll look at what the FH Falcon is like before deciding. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the new Mondeo Titanium Ecoboost - I've seen a few reviews online of the Fusion Titanium Ecoboost on YouTube and so far I'm loving what I see. If all the tech and gadgets on the Fusion Titanium also goes into the new Mondeo Titanium, I'd be a very happy man.

We got the sunroof, black dakota leather and the brake upgrade with our 320i but not the HK sound system. The stock sound is quite impressive though, especially with the digital stations which we got as an option (makes the premium sound in my GT sound crap - which it is !) so I imagine the HK system would be mind blowing. Cheers

When the Territory is out of lease buy that. Keep he XR as a run about until I can lease/buy a Ranger then sell the XR. Maybe trade it in, as the resale might be interesting.
With twins and a five year old, I have to think about child sets for at least another 6 years, so I need something that can fit them in. And all the stuff they need to carry as well.

the only fair thing once they stop making cars in AUs would be to open up the importation of any car you want without the hassles.
in that case i would get: a new corvette a Dodge ram 1500 and a harley all for the same price as a HSV GTS (if they open up imports - which they wont) but if it was a falcon commodore replacement - i would probably get something like the caddy cts-v |

No plans. Not planning on losing sleep over it even though the majority of my cars have been falcons.
Ideally I would like a mid size or larger rear wheel drive sedan. Something that will carry 2 adults and 2 kids in comfort on interstate trips and have the ability to tow a box trailer. My choices might be limited to German made gear I think. I've always liked BMWs! Lol

There is nothing that can fill the void of the falcon or commodore, I will probably just keep refreshing old falcons to what suits me so a nice comfortable ute that you can enjoy without the worry of rolling your hilux when you get a bit spirited, or a sedan comfy enough for 5 adults will do just fine, jus keep evolving them In line with the mustang maybe like its been done for ages

No use planning at this early stage and I guess the easiest option as others have pointed out is to keep what you already have. Even if it’s just for the sake of owning an old Aussie made car.
Still if I had my way I’d love for the Dodge Challenger to be sold here in RHD at a price similar to the current Fords and Holdens. Or maybe one of these when the second hand price becomes realistic, which will probably be never. . |

Will be seriously looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT to replace the Terri. I have a test drive lined up for December; will be taking a couple of GC's for a drive as might even settle on an Overlander (?) diesel.
The R-Spec is a keeper but am looking to treat myself to a Mustang once the R-Spec is paid off. That's the near future.

Order a G6ET or G8E and Terry Titanium for delivery in late 2016, run the G6ET until I am stopped driving by my family/doctor/police and replace the Terry with whatever is next best.
Note to family, my will is going to have a new clause offering more inheritance to the one willing to drive me round in the G6ET. |

Forget 2016 , all my modern Ford's have already been axed/discontinued by ford, my 06 F250 was last year of ford selling. Wife's turbo territory ghia, no longer made. Can't buy a pursuit any more, so just had to sell and buy a GS ute... Also a dying breed!
Like others have said, just keep them and drive them into the ground. |

Just hanging around waiting for Ford to release the FH/FG3 XR8 next year (maybe with a few options ).
Then that will be with me for the foreseeable future. As has been said by some other contributors, I'm a Falcon man. Once the Falc' is gone I don't think Ford will have anything to offer me. But we will see if/when the time comes.

My plan is no different to before the closure announcement. I have no plan. Although if I buy a Ford in the distant future, I'll look at a Mustang.

I'll never part with any of my Falcons, my boys have dibs on them anyways so they aren't going anywhere. Wouldn't mind adding a Mustang to the collection in a few years though, see what happens I guess but have a new Wildtrak on order so that should be fun for a few years.
