hmmm, might have a chance with the most stock AU V8, once I put my factory fited paper filter back in, it will be 100% stock. Still even has the factory fitted tyres and the only thing that is not from the factory are the new brake pads, oil and oil filter the rest of the car and parts are origanol as fitted at the factory.

Just to add a bit more flavour to the mix... The entire AFF tent and setup (same as what is done for FPV Day) will be there with all the AFF merchandise. Stickers, hats, shirts, keyrings etc.

Also, along with the "ThemBoys" prize pack for the show & shine winner Russ and AFF have thrown in a AFF shirt, hat & keyring for the winner as well.

Just keeps getting better and better

The only reason this is turning out so good is because its far from just me organising it. In fact, with so many people involved and offering to help, it cant be anything but a success. Currently it is now about 1/2 the size of the Wagga AFD ... but almost entirely with AU's. Now thats PASSION!

Oh, and there are more suprises to come... not finished yet!

Hey Casper

To think we were going to be happy if we got a dozen cars, enough to cover the ground hire.
Can't believe how much it has grown.
If you need help on the day just sing out

Cheers

Matt

Ok guys (and gals). Need some opinions.

This is a FAMILY DAY, wives, girlfriends, parters, and kids are welcome and actually the reason the whole thing started in the first place.

So, with all the car stuff and AU stuff pretty much sorted out and catered for, what are we going to do for the kids?
By my calculations there will be roughly 10-15 kids there.. give or take. The area has a playground I believe but lets put our heads together and think of what we can do to make it fun for the kids too. Its not all just about cars, its about having a family day. I want to make sure the kids enjoy the day as much as we do too..

Open to idea's.

Lets do some of the old fashioned games like Sack Race or 3 legged race. Maybe we could get a Pinyata hang a rope on it and throw the rope over the branch of a tree, so it hangs. Get 2. One for the little kids, and one for the bigger ones. Just make it fair. Especially with 15 or so kids coming along.

I think that they have somebody that does rent a yacht thingies on the lake, maybe he could set up shop near where we will be, and give us a discount for a group booking. Just a thought, or some little paddle boats.

Casper, in regards to the food I should be able to organise a better price on meat etc to ensure we eat like kings. PM me if you would like me to pursue this (Dad manages a butcher shop and my two brothers are also butchers), if its already organised not to worry.

I'm going to video the trip and I thought I would make a DVD, and I can't think of a name for a title of the movie. Have anyone got any suggestions on what fancy name I could give the movie, please put them down.
