Hey all, just wondering if a standard EF Falcon bonnet would fit onto an EL XR, Putting a bonnet buldge on in a couple of weeks but dont want it with the XR flutes, Thanx

From memory it does but it doesn't quite sit right. Or that might have been a standard EL bonnet on an EL XR that didn't sit right.
You could 'fill in' the flutes, if your adding a bulge then it wouldn't be that hard I guess. Mind you, I personally think the bulge with the XR flutes actually look pretty awesome, but you know what you like and prefer lol Sorry, not a lot of help. Hopefully one of the gurus will be able to be more accurate

Yes. A standard EF bonnet will fit.

a standard EF bonnet is the same as the EFxr and ELxr bonnets so it will fit.
the EL gli and futura have a different bonnet to suit the grill. |
