It actually looks pretty cool, has anyone ever seen one on the roads? They'd have to be as rare as the EB Falcon SS!

There was a V8 EB Cobra on carsales.com.au for a long time early last year not sure what happened to it. I think from memory it was in preston or coburg..Anyone else see it?

That EB Cobra was my old EA Series III Faimont,
I put a custom EB GT kit on it with an XR / GT moulded front. It was the only EB driving around with that front at the time. I also took of the fairmont badge and replaced it with an XR6 one. I traded it in for the EL XR8 I drive now. George purchased it soon after that. Goeorge did the seats and put the cobra strips on it. |

i saw this car at a wreckers in campbellfield in a side street near pickapart about a year ago but the one i seen looked genuine as it had a build number plate on the dash with cobra and a number on it eg 002 cant remember what number but all the badging on the car said cobra it was for sale for 6k unregistered it was a v8 i didnt pay too much attention to it as i wasnt interested in buying it .a mate was, i thought it looked wrong the stripes on an e series..

i saw one in sunbury about a year a go but the guy driving it smashed it :( haven't seen it since, never knew they made one till now i just thought some one was trying to make an EB look like an old skool cobra. Its amazing the things u learn

I was one of the suckers who bought that magazine thinking that Ford were going to re-release the cobra for the EB. Anything to sell a magazine......

Lisa, this car used to be in Townsville, about 12 years ago.
I havnt seen it since ive been back up here. It was ultra cool. I have this mag here aswell, along with alot of other special EA/D mags.
