Hi again...
sorry for the dubble post. I actually wanted to cramp everything into one thread...but it didn't work well... My flasher / indicator relay sometimes indicates at a lower frequency than usual or it doesn't indicate at all ( I get a steady light ). If I use the hazard button on top of the steering column it seems to be working well...it only appears when I use the combination indicator switch and only when the car hasn't been running ( like for one or two days ). After a while and a bit of driving it returns all to normal. Is it more likely a problem within the electric circuit or most likely the flasher unit in the fuse box ? Thanks for any ideas... Flasher unit in the box I'd hazard to guess (pardon the pun) LOL!
They're around $30 from SuperCheap (which isn't exactly cheap - pun intended!) and I found that they flash quieter than the Ford item. I would see how much Ford want and if it's around the same money, I'd replace it with an OEM item. Cheers, GK BTW, they are the same unit as in the EF/EL. Quote:

Take it out. Bash it against something a few times. Plug back in.
Then sit back and enjoy flashing indicators once more.

My car did the same thing, changed the flasher relay from sprints for $20 but it is more noisy then the factory one. Easy to fix though!
